1. All fees are payable in advance before the first training session. Payment can be made using a credit card, debit card, personal check or money order. Payment information can be found on our website. If mailing payment, please send a check or money order only.
2. All educational materials issued are the property of Drivers Of The Future Driving School and they must be returned in good condition at the completion of the course. If they are not returned in good condition, there will be an appropriate fee billed to the responsible party to replace said item (i.e. $36 per textbook plus shipping and taxes).
3. Cancellation of driving and testing appointments must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled appointment.
Students or parties responsible for students are only eligible for refunds at the discretion of Drivers Of The Future Driving School if cancellations are made more than 24 hours before the appointment begins.
4. A certificate of completion will be issued once all fees have been paid in full.
5. There will be a $35.00 service charge for all returned checks.
6. Drivers Of The Future Driving School will complete the course within a reasonable length of time however, it cannot be held responsible for delays caused by unsafe driving conditions due to bad weather, mechanical problems, or any other reasons over which it has no control. Drivers Of The Future Driving School will provide as much notice as possible if a delay becomes necessary. (Thank you for your cooperation with this, in advance!)
7. The fees contained herein cannot be guaranteed longer than ninety (90) days from the beginning date of the course.
8. While Drivers Of The Future Driving School will exert its best efforts in teaching the student to meet the requirements of the NC Division of Motor Vehicles examination, the school cannot guarantee that the student will successfully pass a DMV exam upon completion of the course.
9. The student must either be at least eighteen (18) years of age to agree to and sign this contract or, in the event that the student is under eighteen (18) years of age, we additionally require the signature of a parent or legal guardian.
10. The student may use a Drivers Of The Future vehicle for the actual licensing exam if the student has completed a minimum of six (6) hours behind-the-wheel training at our discretion. Use of a school vehicle for the Division of Motor Vehicles road test is also at the discretion of Drivers Of The Future Driving School instructors.
11. If a student is approved to use a Drivers Of The Future Driving School vehicle for the Division of Motor Vehicles road test, a fee is charged. This must be paid in advance of taking the DMV test. Non-owner insurance is also legally required in the state of North Carolina.
12. Under this agreement an instructor may not provide behind-the-wheel training to more than three individual students during one driving session.
13. This agreement constitutes the entire contract between Drivers Of The Future Driving School and the student, and any verbal assurances or promises not contained herein shall bind neither the school nor the student.
14. Drivers Of The Future Driving School is licensed by the State of North Carolina Division of Motor Vehicles.
15. If either the school or instructor fails to comply with the contract, the school shall refund, pro rata, all monies collected from the student.
16.All refund requests must be submitted within 30 days of your last completed lesson.
Drivers Of The Future Refund Policy: A minimum $100 non-refundable deposit is required in order to secure a seat in a class. Full registration is then invoiced and this deposit is subtracted from that base amount. This fee covers Classroom and Behind-the-Wheel Instruction and must be paid two weeks prior to the first class session to guarantee that spot.
In the event that a request is submitted within two working days prior to the commencement of a driving instruction class, Drivers Of The Future will, at its discretion, offer the option to reschedule or provide a refund equivalent to up to 50% of the total class tuition paid by the student, excluding the initial deposit amount of $100. In the event that a request is submitted no later than two full weeks or more prior to the commencement of a driver education course, a full refund will be issued.
Rescheduling Plan: Upon choosing the rescheduling option, if the student misses multiple sessions as outlined in the agreed-upon rescheduling plan, the school reserves the right to retain the remaining tuition amount and withhold any further refunds.
